Registered as a zoo this is more than just a farm! There's a large variety of animals for you to meet including donkeys, lambs, racoons, reindeer, giant tortoises, prairie dogs, snakes, racoons and red deer. For the big kids there is a tractor ride to go meet the cows, the barrel train ride and for 6 to 11 years old they can learn to ride a quad bike. For the little ones there are chicks to hold, fluffy lambs (season depending), adventure playground and a giant sandpit.

How To Get There

Directions

From Newcastle take the A184 heading east until you reach the A19 and head south. Then turn south onto the A690 where you will find signs for the attractions, which will be on your left.

Tips

Take a picnic the cafe isn't the best bit other than that a thoroughly good day out for all the family.
