Colne Valley Museum

Step back in time to the 1850's at the Colne Valley Museum where you will walk through traditional weaver’s cottages. Make your way around and visit the Loom Chamber, the Spinning and Cropping rooms and the clog maker’s workshop. There are demonstrations as well as interesting exhibits to teach you about the textile industry. There is a children’s corner for the little ones, with activities and toys for them to enjoy and throughout the year there might be additional activities.

Directions
Golcar is most easily found from the Huddersfield ring road by taking the westbound A62 (signed for Oldham), and after two miles taking the B6111.
