About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
The Fleet Air Arm museum is the all-weather attraction that is guaranteed to thrill all the family! Get up close to some of the most powerful and interesting naval aircraft to have taken to the skies at the Fleet Air Arm Museum, the largest collection in Europe. Children (and adults too!) can step on board the first British Concorde, look into the cockpit and also step inside a Sea King helicopter. ‘Fly’ by helicopter to the replica flight deck of the aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal and experience the thrills and sounds of a working flight deck. With the museum being located on a working naval air station there is even the chance of spotting real naval aircraft taking flight! Make sure you take time to visit the new children’s adventure playground which offers something for everything. Based on the new aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth, the playground seeks to inspire young and old alike as they climb, slide and jump on board. Parents can sit back and relax and watch the children slide, swing and climb their way on board the 40ft playground, and experience a thrilling aerial adventure on a replica version of the HMS Queen Elizabeth.
