If you have little budding David Attenborough's then they will enjoy a visit here to see some of the rarest animals on the planet. Famous author, naturalist and broadcaster Gerald Durrell founded the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust over 50 years ago. A zoological park with a huge emphasis on conservation lots of endangered species with plenty of mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles. Set in 32 acre with a huge commitment to the islands wildlife a large area is dedicate nature reserve. They have three generations of Sumatran orangutans, a family of Western Lowland Gorilla, a Madagascan lemur community and lots more. They have lots of children's clubs and activities designed to be fun and educational!
