About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

A must on a visit to Jersey the War Tunnels tells the story of the German Occupation. It may seem strange to think but Jersey was occupied by Nazi Germany for five years. The tunnels are dug deep into the hillside and were originally built as an underground barracks and ammunitions store, today they are a museum telling of the harsh conditions and the daily dilemmas that everyone faced. Outside there is a Garden of Reflection to explore and a woodland walk along the historic War Trail.
