Come here to see the last working slate mine in Britain. There is a visitor centre, shop and cafe but you can also take a tour underground no matter what the weather; its lots of fun and informative and you can see some stunning views. You can even have a go at climbing and try the Via Ferrrata, where you guided up the steep side whilst being safely secure.
