For a great free day outdoors then bring the family to this wonderful country park. There are over 200 acres ready to be explored with woodland walks, an a adventure playground, urban farm and more. The urban farm has a collection of animals for you to meet including kune pigs, fallow deer herd, family of llamas and highland cattle and the old favourites Scott and Clyesdale the donkeys. You can also take a free tour of the castle and learn all about it's rich history, find out what it's like to wear some real armour or have a go at playing some of the musical instruments. There are numerous events throughout the year from classic car shows to volunteer days- so make sure that you check out their website.
