About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

Step back in time and discover the story of Kingsbridge and the South Hams. There are permanent displays and also temporary exhibitions for you to explore the the lives of the people who lived and worked there over many generations. The museum's historic images are held on a database and can be viewed in the Resource Centre. The Farm Gallery houses a wide range of machinery used on farms. It was built in 1975 and still has facilities for repairing and restoring machinery. The museum's shop is an exhibit in its own right. It has a slate floor, which helped keep it cool on washdays.
