The gardens are beautiful and the house is one of the best I have been to. The Roald Dahl stuff is excellent and my 3 kids had a wonderful time!

A shame that NT members still have to pay £6 to park, but entrance to the house and gardens is free to members.
Lots to see and do, easily a full day out, the kids love it, and so do we! Something for everyone - beautiful house and gardens, a few little shops, cafes, a big play ground, a farm (you have to pay extra to get in to the farm), a lake, lots of room to scoot or ride a bike and a carousel.
