Tips

We are regulars at Packwood. My boys (7 & 4) love the teddy bears picnic in the Kitchen garden, the welly walk around the estate, playing hide & seek in the yew trees, visiting the 'Bears' house in the woods & the giant bed structure round the lake. We don't often do the house but this week we did (as it was raining) & the staff were great with the boys, they had to find & count cups & saucers to earn a sticker & they also have a 'VIP invitation for children' with other things to look for. There are loads of places to picnic, or a cafe (with typically nice National Trust food but with quite high price tags). Just be warned the only toilets are by the car park & also in the cafe, both of which are a good run from the gardens & house when you have small children!
