About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

Bring the family here and step back in time to experience life as a Victorian. The recreated streets have shops and houses that you can explore and on special events there are people in full Victorian costumes to add to the experience! Explore the displays which highlight the harshness of life back then and then compare this to the comfortable life of a successful pawnbroker. You can even take your place for class at the local Methodist Sunday School. Throughout the year there are lots of fun family events planned and we recommend you visit the museums website for the latest info.

Tips

Lived in Leeds 35 years and didn't know this little gem existed. My 7 and 8 year olds loved it. Fab ace. Pleasantly surprised x the car park gets very busy from lunch time.

I thought this place was great for a wide age range. My 20 month old loved it as there were lots if little areas you could stop and play in that were very hands in and her older cousins enjoyed the educational side of things. Great art activities set up for 1/2 term. I thought it was really good value. We didn't eat in the cafe but it looked really nice.
