Armley Mills is home to many exhibits ranging from the 18th century to the present day. Learn all about the manufacturing of textiles, clothing, printing and engineering. There's a collection of various steam locomotives for you to admire as well as exhibitions and collections that show you how the industries shaped the city of Leeds. You will learn about the harsh working conditions in the mills and the rise and fall of the industry. As an extra activity, the canal running along the museum is great for a walk on a sunny day.

Directions
Head west out of the City Centre along the A58. Turn off the A58 and head along the A65 (Kirkstall Road). Stay on this road until you reach Viaduct Road on your lefthand side and turn down here. The attraction will be on your righthand side.
