About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
There is much to see at this Edwardian estate that was once home to the Gascoigne family. Inside the house you will find lots of fine furniture, paintings, ceramics and costumes. In the Bird Gardens you can see over 200 species of rare and exotic birds, which make up one of the most famous collections in the UK. Watch the elegant flamingos, adore the snowy owls and admire the cassowaries and endangered birds. There are also gardens for you to explore including the Formal Gardens and regular gardens. The children can have hours of fun in the adventure playground where they will find a zip wire, climbing frames, swings and roundabouts (for children under 8).

Love this place, it's reasonably priced for a year ticket and they have loads of different things on throughout the year. Great place to have picnics and meet friends.
