Roundhay Park has 700 acres of parkland, lakes and woodland which makes it one of the largest urban parks in the world. The park is home to Tropical World (also known as Butterfly Gardens and Butterfly World) which attracts visitors all year round. Facilities in the park include tennis courts, children's play areas, a skateboard park and fishing.

There is a cafe by the lake selling refreshments. Picnics are allowed.

How To Get There

Directions

The park is located northeast of Leeds. Head northeast out of the City Centre along the A58. Turn off the A58 on to Roundhay Road, which will be on your lefthand side. Turn left up Princes Avenue and you will arrive at Roundhay Park.
