About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK's year-round centre of Remembrance; a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and fosters pride in our country. It is a living and lasting memorial, but importantly the focus is not entirely military. There are areas dedicated to emergency services and charities alike. It’s not a cemetery, it’s a place of life; represented by the 30,000 trees planted there, where both older and younger generations can wander and wonder. The grounds are family friendly and there’s a lot for younger visitors to enjoy. The 150-acre site is home to an abundance of wildlife and children will enjoy exploring the many habitats and natural features of the site, including the maturing wildlife pond, and two outdoor play areas. The Arboretum also hosts many family friendly events throughout the year including half term craft activities, monthly mother and toddler groups and interactive wildlife sessions. There are also two outdoor play areas, open throughout the year. The Arboretum offers fully accessible baby change facilities, as well as level access throughout their Remembrance Centre.
