About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

Visit the magnificent castle with the family and walk in the footsteps of past kings and convicts from hundreds of years ago! Recently renovated the fantastic Lincoln Castle has plenty to offer families looking for a great day out. Built by William the Conqueror in 1068, the castle has ever since stood as a symbol of power and a seat of justice. You can scale the heights of the Medieval Wall Walk and marvel at the spectacular views of the city and countryside or visit the Victorian Prison where children as young as 8 were held. The Castle is the only place in the world where you can see the historic document the Magna Carta and in the new underground cinema kids can learn all about King John and the events that led to it's huge significance in history.
