This ancient stone bridge is surrounded by myth, legend says the devil built the bridge as part of a dare, these days you and the family can enjoy the stunning setting and the tranquility. The water is cold and shallow in places so if you're brave enough you can go paddling.

Directions

In the Exmoor National Park, between the villages of Liscombe and Hawkridge, the road down to Tarr Steps is narrow and windy just off the B4223.
