Ferries have featured on the River Mersey for over 800 years and with Mersey Ferries you will find there are a number of different trips that you can take around the Liverpool area. The daily River Cruise runs all year where you will hear commentary and the ferry runs between Liverpool’s Pier Head, plus Seacombe and Woodside on the Wirral. The journey lasts around 50 minutes. The Manchester Ship Canal Cruise runs between April and October, the cruise lasts 6hrs and goes along the famous waterways. There are other special cruises throughout the year so make sure that you check their website!
