A great visitor centre set against the beautiful backdrop of Snowdonia and on the shore of Llyn Padarn. Electric Mountain is the starting point for tours into Dinorwig Power Station. Deep in Elidir Mountain is one of Europe’s largest man made caverns, home to a pumped storage generator which converts the power of water into electricity. Learn all about the fascinating hydro pumped storage power station that has a capacity of 360 MW. In the centre there is also The Den a fun and exciting indoor soft play area with ball pool, tube slides, tunnels climbing nets, biff bash, mirrors and even sections for babies and children under the age of 2.
