This Engaging Museum Tells The Story Of The Welsh Slate Industry. Travel Back In Time, The Workshops And Buildings Are Designed As Though The Workers Have Just Downed Their Tools And Left. There Are Regular Demonstrations Including Slate Splitting And How Una The Quarry Engine Actually Works. There Is Also The Fun Children's Passport, The Quarrymen's Houses Booklet Or The Art Cart Booklet.

How To Get There

Directions

The museum is just north of Snowdon. Take the A5 and exit on to the A4086 and stay on until you get to the right turn just after the Llyn Peris Lake and then take the first exit on the roundabout just after the First Hydro. The Museum will be on the left.
