The horse drawn boat trips that run from the wharf are a great unique trip that you can take with the family or even one of the motorised canal boats over the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct built by Thomas Telford. You can take 45 minute, or two hour long trips with the horse among the delightful Llangollen Canal. The canal is a designated World Heritage site. The Aqueduct trips last two hours and takes you through the beautiful vale of Llangollen. There have a quaint little tea room that serves good food, coffees and treats to feed the brood.
