About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
If you fancy a little bit of a walk then you will be rewarded by these stunning ruins of a castle. Built by the churchman John Carswell, the publisher of the first book printed in Scottish Gaelic. The position of the castle means that it overlooks the countryside of the Kilmartin Glen. There is plenty for the family to explore and there are plaques around explaining the history of the castle and the people who live there.
