Originally an old council depot, but now an award winning visitor centre for the green fingered and for nature lovers. Demonstrating innovative environmental building techniques. The demonstration wildlife garden has mini habitats, a wild flower nursery, and some very well-used community raised beds. The kids will love the natural trail and exploring the mini beast village, summer meadow, woodland copse, stag beetle sanctuary, wildlife pond and bog garden, flowery chalk bank; keep an eye out for various frogs, newts and grasshoppers, songbirds, stag beetle and red fox. Family events are organised throughout the year so check out the website. Pick up some plants from our stall, not to mention a pot of Peckham honey from their very own hives.
