This lovely 300 year old townhouse was home to Samuel Johnson, author of A Dictionary of the English Language. There are many temporary displays so there will be new things to see. Permanent collections include prints and drawings, oil paintings, archives and manuscripts amongst others! There are also various events and exhibitions running throughout the year such as staged performances and curator's talks.
