If you love Art Deco, you'll love Eltham Palace. Built by the Courtauld family, it was the childhood home of Henry VIII. All the rooms within the palace are magnificent and well worth a walk around. There is a fantastic play area where the children will explore the world, with a plane to fly, mountains to climb, world maps to explore and a compass for them to find their way home. Tips

Suitable for school age kids . The interactive I-tablet tour for kids is brilliant. Great play area and loads of outdoor space for running around , food is a bit pricey though.
