About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

The location of this wonderful museum was actually the home of Sigmund Freud, the founder of the psychoanalysis. Freud's study is preserved just as it was during his lifetime. It contains his extraordinary collection of almost 2000 antiques, which you will get the opportunity to see and some of the family's furniture, as well as the desk, at which he would write until the early hours of the morning. Be sure to check out Freud's psychoanalytic couch, a visitor favourite, on which his patients reclined. While Freud worked only with adults, his daughter Anna who also lived in this house, treated children and young people in mental distress.
