About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
A local history museum celebrating one of Europe's most culturally diverse areas. It looks at immigration through objects, interactive displays, computer programs and recordings. The collection includes such artefacts as Daniel Defoe's tombstone, a propaganda sheet from Nazi Germany and a victorian fireplace. Hands-on kids activities include loading a saxon ship, dressing up in period costumes and making Victorian matchboxes. Lots of family events and activities are organised throughout the year so check out their website.
