About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

Handel House Museum was once the home of composer George Frideric Handel between 1723-1759. He composed some of his best known works in the house and you will get a chance to see stunning portraits and prints of the people he knew and worked with in London. The museum holds weekly concerts every Thursday with occasional events for families. Music lovers would be interested to know that Jimi Hendrix lived next door in 1968 with his then girlfriend Kathy Etchingham and you can visit this property. There is so much more to see and discover at the fascinating museum with its family trail, exhibitions, Saturday Talks, podcasts, films and music.
