These enchanting gardens and manor house are a great place to bring the family no matter the time of year, there are over 8 acres to be explored. Discover the story of Edward Augustus Bowles, one of Britain’s most famous self-taught gardeners, artists and expert botanists. There is a selection of activity booklets available for the children to complete as they make their way around the garden, with lots of fun facts for them to learn, and they will love meeting the tame fish which they can feed!

How To Get There

Directions

From M25 J25 take the Southbound A10 signposted London. At the next junction (Bullsmoor Lane) take the right lane filter turning right into Bullsmoor Lane. Take the first exit at the mini roundabout into Bulls Cross (The Pied Bull Pub is on the right) then continue. Myddelton House Gardens can be found on the right hand side directly opposite the junction with Turkey Street.

Tips

They have an Ozzie the Ostrich fun pack for children - a version for little ones and a version for older ones which only costs £1. It's free to enter on Sundays. Food in the cafe is delicious and very reasonably priced - jacket potato for £2.25!
