Bring the family here to learn all about the Foundling Hospital and the fascinating facts on the 1780's, when up to 4000 children a year were given up in London and it wasn't until Thomas Coram came along in 1719, and after 20 years of lobbying, that the Royal Charter was made establishing the idea of concept. The museum holds regular thought provoking exhibitions and also family events. If you need to refuel the family there is a cafe which serves hot and cold drinks sandwiches, pies, salads and tasty cakes.
