Stonehurst Family Farm is a fantastic day out for the whole family. It is a working farm so there is always lots to see. You can feed some animals, help collect the freshly laid eggs, have a tractor ride and even a pony ride. You can play on the swings in the straw back and the kids will absolutely love the two wonderful playgrounds. You'll see some lovely animals such as pigs, chickens, ducks, goats and loads more. There is a Motor Museum which is home to an array of classic and vintage cars and memorabilia.

Directions
Take the A6 north from Leicester and take the the slip to Mountsorrel. Tavel northbound on Leicester Rd and follow signs to the museum.

We enjoyed a lovely day out here in August. My 10 year old especially loved holding the rabbits and guinea pigs. We also watched Louis the calf being fed his bottle of milk! Shall look forward to taking my son when he's a little older!
