With relaxing woodland walks, gorgeous trees & shrubs, stunning views and a fascinating history, Furzey Gardens is a beautiful day out for the whole family. The gardens offer a lovely variety of sights and sounds. The cottage, situated by the garden's entrance, was built around 1560 and bursting with history and shows what life was like living in the charming little cottage. For children there is a play area and fairy doors to hunt for.

There is a coffee shop (open March - October) that offers home baked cakes, sandwiches and refreshments. There is a picnic area by the play area.

How To Get There

Directions

From Cadnam to Lyndhurst on the A337, take the 2nd turning signposted Minstead. Head on through Minstead Village following signs for Furzey Gardens.

Tips

absolutely lovely day out great for younger kids hunting for all the different fairy door, wear comfy shoes and bring a picnic. although the cafe looks lovely and they sell for its a bit pricey
