This family friendly museum is set right on the cliff overlooking the Solway Firth and next to the ruins of a Roman fort. Inside the museum you will find objects that were found in and around the fort including Roman military alter stones. For the children there are Roman costumes for them to dress up in, Humphrey's guide to the museum, games and art activities and events held in the holidays. Climb to the top of a observation tower where you can get an excellent view of the landscape and the fort.
