About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
Bring the family here to this 18th century cottage where literature is brought to life. The cottage is the former home of John Davidson a former cobbler, who was the real life Souter Johnnie immortalised in the Robert Burns poem Tam o’ Shanter. In the garden there is a thatched cottage with life-size sandstone statues of the characters in the poem. There is a children's quiz that can be bought full of fun facts about all the unusual objects in the cottage.
