This castle dates back over 400 years is this imposing three storey castle. There are information boards which takes you through the fascinating history of the castle and its residents. Previous residents include Sir William Alexander, who became the 1st Earl of Stirling, and the famous military commander Sir Ralph Abercromby. For the children there are quiz sheets for them to complete; they really have to look really closely at the exhibits to find the answers.
