This museum will show you what it was really like to be a miner back when the mine was operational. You will uncover the treasure within this 18th century lead mine and you can experience the thrill of going underground. You can walk around two miners cottages to see how they really lived. There is a fantastic visitor centre with a collection of rocks, minerals, gold, mining and local artefacts. During the summer holidays have a go at gold panning!
