About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
Two wonderful attractions in one place; set in a steep gorge see how the water-powered tin works worked and how now the giant water wheel is used to generate electricity. There are a lot of ruins to explore and climb around and the waterfall to admire, also there is plenty of wildlife to spot from bats to kingfishers. The kids can pick up a tracker pack which is stuffed full of activities for them to complete as they make their way around and the kids will love dressing up in the Victorian clothing and playing Victorian games. The Old School House is now a great little tea room where you can feed the brood with light bites and treats.

The National Trust have done well with the site. Very interesting and well laid out. Plenty of places to have a picnic. Lots of seating and good information displays.
The is a small tea room at the front which is reasonably priced. Lovely home made Bara Brith aswell.
