The Great North Museum Hancock is a fantastic place to visit, taking in all you need to know about natural history. Formally known as the Hancock Museum, you'll see some wonderful displays and exhibits, including a life size T-Rex replica skeleton, objects from Ancient Greece and mummies from Egypt. Kids will love the live animals housed there, such as amphibians and reptiles.
