Bring the family here to see the well preserved ruins of a Roman villa that were discovered when the owner of a nearby house sank foundations for a garage. Now you can see extensive remains of a late Romano-British farmhouse built around 280 AD. Learn all about Roman life, the children will especially like the hands-on room where you can make a mosaic, repair a broken pot or weave a blanket and there is an activity booklet for them to complete too.
