About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

This unusual monastery is an interesting place to bring the family for a day out. It is set in beautiful woodland and is a peaceful place to be among the ruins. There is plenty to learn about the history of the monastery and the monks who use to live there with the reconstructed monk’s cell and herb plot. The monastery is also know for the wildlife who call the place home now and you must keep an eye out for the famous stoat population! There are events held here throughout the year so make sure that you check out the website.
