About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
Bring the family to these haunting ruins of a castle tucked away on a terrace overlooking the River Tyne. Once a noble residence from the 14th century to the 16th Century and had connections with two influential families the Crichtons and the Hepburn Earls of Bothwell. Take some good shoes for the walk to the castle, but once you are there you are rewarded with fantastic views over the surrounding countryside and there is plenty for the children to explore.
