Perth Museum is a wonderful place to visit to gain an insight into how Perth became the town it is today. There are ever-changing exhibitions so there will always be something to see and do. It is very family-friendly, offering various workshops and activities. There is a fascinating natural history display, containing zoological, botanical and geological items. With 150,000 specimens, this makes it the 6th largest collection of natural history in Scotland. Following a public consultation, it was revealed that the new name for Perth City Hall will be Perth Museum. The current building on George Street has been renamed Perth Art Gallery.

Opening Times

Mon, Fri, Sat and Sun- 10am-4pm Closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. All exhibition spaces and galleries are closed to the public from January to April 2023.
