About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

If your family are loco about locomotives take them to this heritage railway centre. The rebuilt railway has a track that now runs 1 1/2 mile along a stretch of line between Marsh Mills and Plym Bridge and on certain days throughout the year you can take a trip on one of the restored trains. Inside the centre you can learn all about the reservation work that’s happening and can see diesel locomotives, carriages, wagons and other historic railway artefacts.

Somewhere To Eat?

On Sundays there's a buffet at the centre.

How To Get There

Directions

Follow the B3416 off the Marsh Mills roundabout, (below the A38 next to Sainsbury’s), towards Plympton, or follow the signs for the Coypool Park and Ride Car Park, which is situated opposite the Railway. From Plymouth city centre, head towards Exeter and when reaching the roundabout follow above directions. There is no parking on site at Marsh Mills Station, but the Park & Ride car park at Coypool is directly opposite the railway, and can be used by visitors to the railway at weekends. At Plym Bridge platform there is a car park nearby.
