About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

This was the first property to be acquired by the national trust in 1896; it is a beautiful wonky medieval thatched Wealden hall-house and garden that has lovely views over the River Cuckmere. Find out about the 650 years history of the house and what it would have been like to have lived in it. The picturesque garden in full of trees, herbs and flowers and there is a children's quiz and trail for them to follow as they make their way around. They hold family events throughout the year so make sure that you check out the website.
