A working beef and lamb farm open to the public. Visit in spring for the lambing season to feed the lambs and the garden is worth a visit for when the snowdrops make their appearance. The farm has a collection of rare breed cows such as Highland, Longhorn and Beef Shorthorn. If your lucky at the weekend you might be able to take a Pygmy Goat for a walk.

How To Get There

Directions

Take the M6 to junction 32 follow the A6 to Garstang, after the Barton Grange roundabout the next right is signposted to Calder Vale and Brown signed to Cobble Hey Gardens & Beacon Fell. (Garage at this junction) From the North/Lancaster Take to M6 to junction 33 and follow the A6 to Garstang, bypass Garstang turn off's, until you see the Garage on your left and follow the brown signs to the garden from this point. From this junction, just follow the brown signs which will either be named Cobble Hey Gardens or the flower symbol. It is approximately 2.9miles from the junction. If you are going to use your sat nav, please follow the brown flower signs.

Fab day out ..you get to feed the animals and walk the goats ..the gardens are beautiful and all the people who work there are so friendly .Will definately be going back
