About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

This thatched 17th Century house is where Scotland’s national bard, Robert Burns, learned to dance, founded a debating club and became a Freemason. Burns and his friends use to meet in this two room house to forget their cares and share stories. Downstairs the rooms recreate a typical 18th century domestic scene and upstairs there is information and displays about the club. The children have quizzes to complete to help educate them and to explain the importance of the objects they are looking at.
