About This AttractionSuggest an Edit
Wellington Country Park is great for getting back to nature. Covering 350 acres, 35 of which is lakeland. The park has plenty to keep your little ones entertained: follow a nature trail, see the wildlife in their natural habitat, visit all your farmyard friends at the animal farm and burn off some steam on the jumping pillow. With adventure play areas, water play and sand pits to keep the kids busy and the chance to escape from busy towns and cities, Wellington is a great day out.

Lots to do! Took my 1 year old and my 6 year old niece unfortunately my son fell asleep for the whole thing but my niece loved it once she got into the spirit but we didn't have enough time. Take sandcastle equipment as there are loads of sandy areas. All outdoors except cafe and if there are any events on just be mindful as most of this is aimed outdoors. It's lovely and fairly big. Dog friendly too they just need to stay on the lead and not allowed inside the children play areas.

Spent the day here with the extended family- was lovely. Had a nice long walk; played a bit of mini golf, kids had fun in the play area and visiting the dinosaurs and then enjoyed a lovely picnic followed by ice cream!

Excellent place to go with children's. Lots to do and different things. They are always improving what they can, but do feel it's expensive.
