About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

This is a huge ancient tin mine site with large Grade II listed engine houses that dominate the landscape. The mine is one of the most internationally significant mining sites around; though it closed in 1887, production re-started during the first world war. The area has been made safe to explore and there are trails that the family can follow, some are even wheelchair/pushchair suitable. Learn about the site's history through the interpretation boards and admire the wildlife that now call the area home.
