Tips

We had a lovely day out for Father’s Day. Just to be clear... this is a garden full of beautiful flower beds, walks, art, trees and exotic plants. It’s not a children’s adventure playground.
For the children, there are two small play areas featuring a tree house with slide, a snake/rope swing, climbing/balancing and a single carpet swing. The play areas seem to be hidden out of sight.
Walking through the gardens there are a few interactive areas for children - mostly musical instruments; giant wind chimes, small metal drum and glockenspiel.
Overall it was a good day (beautiful setting) but the children won’t be wanting to revisit anytime soon.

Take a picnic, cafe is really expensive.
