For a great family day out visit this exciting museum, which is modern and appealing to families with kids of all ages and has many up-to-date displays and interactive exhibits. Kids will love the Lion's Den exhibit which features Nelson the Lion and is a great place to learn all about Africa. Afterwards enjoy time in the Park which has a water splash, play park, tennis courts, mini golf, a fun park with roller coasters and bumper cars and much more! Take a ride on the Clifton Express which will let you enjoy all the sights of the Park as you hop on and off at different locations.

Directions

Clifton Park and Museum is on Clifton Lane (A6021), half a mile from Rotherham town centre. If travelling by car, you can reach the Park from junctions 33, 34, or 35 of the M1, or junction 1 of the M18. Buses to Clifton Park and Museum are available from the bus station in the town centre. There is a bus stop immediately outside the Museum.
